Couples Apart...Parents Forever (Part III)

A conflict resolution program to help separating parents living apart

We can help you:

  • Understand the effects of conflict on you, your partner and your children
  • Stop arguing in ways that harm you, your partner and your children
  • Talk to and be heard by your partner
  • Resolve parenting differences and disputes

You will learn to:

  • Avoid the common pitfalls
  • Communicate safely and respectfully towards each other
  • Stop spinning your wheels, escalating conflict, or giving in
  • Identify destructive communication patterns
  • Develop and follow a problem-solving system

We will teach you:

  • How to solve problems and disagreements safely and fairly

You will practice:

  • Asking for what you want
  • Listening to and understanding your partner
  • Building options and solutions
  • Identifying negative communication patterns

You and your children will benefit as:

  • You both take control of parenting issues
  • You build a different parenting relationship
  • You learn and master negotiating skills and conflict management strategies
  • Your family is secure that you will both be parents forever

Couples Apart...Parents Forever (Part III) is a 10-hour program.

Cost $100 per person.
(May be paid in installments per session.
Some subsidies are available--minimum contribution of $25.)
